We are currently looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team. Reporting into the content strategy lead, the Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for managing our clients’ social communities and supporting the day-to-day execution of their content strategies. The ideal candidate has intense attention for detail and is a master organizer. You are creatively-driven and passionate about using social and digital marketing to grow a brand.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of social channels including publishing/scheduling posts, monitoring social feeds, building followers, responding to online inquiries, and interacting with fans and customers
  • Supporting the launch of a national brand channel
  • Working directly with clients to maintain and develop communities and social channel identities
  • Supporting the ongoing development of engaging and compelling social/digital content and calendar building
  • Assisting with regular reporting/data pulling
  • Performing research/social listening to contribute to competitive audits and/or product research
  • Coordinating and collaborating with creative and accounts teams
  • Bringing exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance to everything that leaves our department
  • Contribute to lg2 company culture

The ideal candidate

  • 2+ years of experience in advertising, media, or a similar industry
  • Has a BA, BBA, BComm or equivalent degree/diploma (or relevant work experience)
  • Has superior verbal and written communication skills (full English fluency required)
  • Is an entrepreneur at heart
  • Experience with content management tools is a bonus (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Is extremely proactive, loves problem-solving, and has a can-do attitude
  • Is willing to work occasional weekends/evenings to meet challenging deadlines or provide on-site event coverage when required
  • Is a team player who enjoys working collaboratively with others
  • Has a keen organizational and detail-oriented approach, with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Has a passion for the untapped potential and power and creativity of social and digital marketing
  • Brings their best to everything they do
