Are you creative, keep things in the right order and place, and know how to pen a catchy phrase? Then let’s meet. We are currently looking for a content manager to simultaneously lead multiple content projects, from articles and videos to creative for social media. You are independent, experienced, organized, a skilled writer and bursting with ideas. You will assist the content cell with the concepting, planning, management and production of content. Reporting to the Head of Content, your main mission as project manager/writer will be to ensure the smooth functioning of the website and social platforms of a specialty account in the food industry (hello, foodies!).

The successful candidate will have several years of experience (content years are measured in dog years). You know how to keep things aligned and on track, and make the most of the talent around you. You love days that never repeat and you are always on the lookout for the next big thing on the Web, even if tomorrow it falls out of fashion (the return of “likes” on Instagram?). You eat content for breakfast, in all its forms, but especially love it when it’s served up in way that connects with its target and contributes to generating real business results. Because that’s what we strive to do at lg2.

Responsibilities: content project management
Content planning and management for different digital properties of a specialty brand in the food sector (mainly website, newsletter and social media)
Coordination of internal and external teams
Content production follow-up and management of publication calendar
Participation in the concepting and editorial strategy for different agency brands
Writing of a quarterly performance report
Monitoring of food industry and content marketing trends

Responsibilities: writing
Write mainly short-form copy that demonstrates creativity and rigour
Edit copy (as needed)
Check the accuracy of information communicated
Interview experts (as needed)

The ideal candidate

  • Have a university degree in journalism/communication/marketing or related field
  • Have at least 3 years of professional experience
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Speak and write French fluently (required), plus ability to speak and write English at a decent level
  • SEO savvy
  • Solid grasp of social platforms (formats, brands, trends, influencers, etc.)
  • Go-getter, rigorous, independent, but above all, great sense of team spirit
  • Creative, strategic and detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
