Writer, Internal Communications

We are the sum of all our talents.

We are currently looking for a sharp, skilled writer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for all the agency’s official internal communications for all three offices (Montreal, Quebec and Toronto). The candidate will play a strategic role by embodying lg2’s internal voice in communications to some 350 employees.

As the entry point for all content requests to be communicated internally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for planning the internal editorial calendar and producing all its content while respecting the lg2 brand tone and the company’s objectives.

In your role as the writer, internal communications, you will work independently. This will require you to sort and assess the nature and urgency of requests from the different teams, groups, cities or projects. Your copy will always be engaging and catch the eye (and minds) of readers. A multitasking pro, you will follow up with resources for editing, translation and adaptation, and get the necessary approvals in a diligent manner. You will also be responsible for publishing your own communications (mainly via our own internal Slack channel), in addition to maintaining a lively and active internal community. The creation of various communication documents for specific internal audiences will also fall under your duties.

Finally, you will play a significant role in content creation and the deployment of other internal communication tools planned for this year.

Ideal candidate

  • Independent and reliable, knows when to knock on the right door
  • Though not a designer, grasps the importance of strong, consistent visuals in internal communications
  • Natural go-between for teams, easy to work with
  • Spot-on and well-paced copy
  • Professional who demonstrates discretion
  • Can produce copy fast to respect deadlines
  • Impeccable French
  • Bilingual
