Senior Digital Copywriter

The Digital Experience group at LG2 is currently looking for a Senior Digital Copywriter for a one-year contract (maternity leave replacement). The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice-President, Executive Creative Director, Digital Experience, and work closely with the existing digital content team. Note that this position could open the door to other opportunities within the agency.

The candidate could be a senior digital writer or a strategist with strong writing skills who wants to contribute to large-scale projects and pursue a management track, or an experienced freelancer who is seeking some stability without a long-term commitment.

About us

The Digital Experience group designs major digital products: e-commerce, apps, storefronts, loyalty programs and newsletters, interactive experiences, etc. (but not social media campaigns or banners). Because of our 60-strong interactive studio within the larger LG2 organization, our agency was named Canada’s #1 Digital Agency by CSS Design Awards.

Our team members don’t have their nose glued to a screen all the time; instead, they live memorable experiences. It’s all about embracing a smart approach to design, technology and business to create best-in-class products. But all of that starts with caring for the people behind the screen. That’s why we’re a tightly knit, multi-expert team that collaborates as well internally as we do with client teams.

About the content team

Our copywriters are an integral part of the digital creative team and are involved from the design stage onwards. They work as a team with UX and UI designers, consultants, developers, strategists and other collaborators. Their involvement doesn't stop with UX writing, long copy or short copy (although that’s part of the job!) – they’re big ideas people, whose impact is felt right through to the vision of the digital product or how the user experiences an interactive tool.
