lg2 is currently looking for an experienced Level 2-3 IT Technician. Under the supervision of the IT Director, they will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to all the agency’s users and ensuring the proper functioning and evolution of its computer systems and network. They will also contribute to optimizing, automating and evolving agency processes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

You will act as a technical specialist for IT tools. In other words, you will be the go-to person for all lg2 employees. You will provide level 2-3 support for IT systems – servers, VM, cloud, IDM, MDM – in addition to providing application support for Google Workspace and developing web management tools (GAM).

You’ve always had a (healthy) obsession with making things work better and more efficiently and are constantly on the lookout for the latest technological solutions. That’s why you are the perfect person to automate processes across the agency’s activities and departments. You will also be responsible for helping to evaluate implemented automations during the test phase and document them using ITSM tools.

More generally, you will also coordinate service calls with suppliers, install and update hardware and software (patching), and support the technical team at all levels.

Ideally, you are someone who:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a computer technician
  • Knowledge of macOS and Google Workspace environments mandatory
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills, and ability to prioritize multiple requests
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Bilingual (English and French), both verbal and written
