LG2 is currently looking for an IT Specialist, Level 1, to join its IT team. Under the supervision of the team’s manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to all of the agency’s staff, both with respect to hardware and software.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

You will provide first-level technical support for computer systems (workstations, equipment, printers, etc.) and application support on Google Workspace (accounts, access, etc.). In the event of an emergency, you will be responsible for resolving the issue. This entails working on a flexible schedule and putting in overtime if necessary.

You’re obsessed (in a good way) with improving and optimizing processes. That’s why you meticulously document solutions with ITSM tools and always keep an eye out for new technological solutions.

You are the go-to specialist for the agency’s IT tools and software, undertaking all the necessary installations, maintenance and patches. You will also be responsible for coordinating service calls with suppliers and supporting the technical team.

Ideal profile

  • DEC in computer science or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a computer technician
  • Knowledge of macOS and Google Workspace, an asset
  • Knowledge of audiovisuals, an asset
  • Excellent customer service
  • Proficient in English and French, both written and spoken
