As a computer security analyst, you will develop, plan, recommend, implement, improve and monitor security measures to protect the agency’s computer networks, connected devices and information. You will act as a trusted custodian of information (and the systems in which it resides), protecting its access and use, and preventing its unauthorized disclosure, disruption, modification or destruction.

You will also participate in managing internal and external projects as the person in charge of deliverables for security-related items.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Manage the company’s IT security activities.

  • Write and update security policies.

  • Develop operational processes for IT security.

  • Propose and implement improvements and optimizations of IT systems.

  • Participate in major IT security projects.

  • Act as a security specialist for IT tools.

  • Evaluate new tools according to the agency’s criteria.

  • Document solutions using ITSM tools.

  • Participate in the evaluation of new technological solutions.

  • Develop and provide training to users.

  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with internal technologies and external projects.

  • Handle ISO, SOC, NIST, etc. certifications.

Ideal profile

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

  • Knowledge of macOS and Google Workspace environments

  • Ability to assess security risks associated with adding new products/technologies to the ecosystem

  • Knowledge of best practices in security development (OWASP, DAST, SAST)

  • Interest in new technologies and SaaS solutions, and ability to assess the security associated with these technologies

  • Ability to calculate and communicate risks, and collaborate on plans to mitigate them

  • Solid analytical and time management skills, and ability to prioritize multiple requests

  • Excellent outreach and communication skills

  • English and French (spoken and written)

Atouts :

  • Knowledge of security related to e-commerce

  • Knowledge of PHP and JS environments, and JAMstack architecture

  • Knowledge of on-prem (VMware) and cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) infrastructures
