We are currently looking for an Account Director to take the lead in managing client accounts alongside an experienced creative team. As a key player on both the internal and client teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for making a game-changing impact to the brands in their care, ensuring to deliver an outstanding creative product each time.

You are a gifted troop leader, with proven management skills. You love diving into clients’ business challenges and making a positive contribution to their bottom line. Fearless in the face of tough decisions, you resolve problems through creative and effective thinking. You have a knack for seeing business opportunities, which you don’t hesitate to seize.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Understand and analyze mandates based on business objectives, and align all efforts with them.
  • Effectively communicate a mandate’s requirements to the creative team.
  • Manage the global budget and optimize the account’s ROI and profitability.
  • Evaluate and control production expenses and schedules.
  • Manage content quality.
  • Pinpoint business opportunities and create strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Successfully lead and guide projects, teams and clients.
  • Manage and train the team’s account execs and oversee their development.
  • Manage branding and design projects (especially packaging).
  • Manage situations of conflict, initiate discussions and make tough decisions.
  • Act as a coach, clearly establish team member roles and delegate tasks.

Ideally, you are someone who:

  • Is laser-focused on results
  • A born leader who can delegate
  • Is passionate about creativity, innovation and strategy
  • Constantly pushes the bar on rigour
  • Can juggle several accounts at the same time
  • Has a perfect grasp of French and can switch into English comfortably
  • Has at least 3–4 years of management experience
  • Previous agency experience an asset
