At our company, Back-End Developers guarantee the foundations on which our products are built. Their rigor and consistency gives our Front-End Developers essential support. Attentive to the challenges of their assigned projects, they make the necessary decisions to guarantee the security and efficiency of our clients' platforms, as well as the tools used within the group.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Participates in project analyses and estimates.
  • Participates in thinking about technological decisions, both internally and for our clients and contributes to their implementation.
  • Delivers quality, optimized, high-performance code that complies with existing standards.
  • Maintains and improves the security and performance of existing projects.
  • Collaborates with other developers and advisory teams on a daily basis.
  • Constantly works to keep up-to-date with technological trends.

Ideally, you are someone who:

  • 5+ years of experience in Back-End Development.
  • Total mastery of PHP 5.5+/7 (8, an asset) object-oriented.
  • Total mastery of GIT (or equivalent).
  • Mastery of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB or similar).
  • Excellent understanding of CMS concepts.
  • Experience in deployment and online implementation.
  • Experience in e-commerce solutions (asset).
  • Good knowledge of CraftCMS and WordPress.
  • Development experience with external APIs.
  • Use of Drupal 8+ (asset).
  • Experience with Node.js (asset).
  • Experience with PHP frameworks, such as Symfony or Laravel (asset).
  • Experience in a language other than PHP (Java, Python, C++, etc.) (asset).
  • Interest in DevOps (asset).
  • Team spirit, good communicator and proactive.
