We are currently looking for an Account Supervisor (AS) who will work closely with various teams within the agency on different advertising, digital and design mandates. This role supports Account Management leadership with responsibilities covering client relationships, projects, workflows, and reporting. The candidate will have a direct role in managing work by overseeing specific elements of large engagements and taking complete ownership of smaller projects. Responsibilities include managing and directing creative teams on deliverables, translating client direction into thorough, actionable creative briefs, and managing project timelines. The candidate will also oversee responsibilities for project estimation, billing, budgeting, and profitability management.

Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the day-day business including complex clients and internal situations.
  • Flawless execution of projects from brief to completion, delivered on time and within budget.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and partners.
  • Seek, nurture, contribute to creating the best possible work.
  • Work with clients to identify key challenges/opportunities to grow client business with a focus on strategic input.
  • Manage assigned internal and external resources.
  • Set objectives and priorities for the team; manage, coach and develop direct reports.
  • Structure and prepare well-written POVs, decks and presentations.
  • Present for client approval at all appropriate stages of creative and production.
  • Obtain internal approvals at all appropriate stages of creativity and production.
  • Manage development and approval of fee and production estimates and oversee progress against approved budgets
  • Meet with AD on a regular basis to discuss client issues and opportunities.
  • Keep the client, account team and agency resource managers updated on the status of projects.
  • Monitor key competitors, maintain competitive and industry tracking/reviews.
  • Work with GAD, AD to develop and maintain the profitability of accounts and oversee hours reporting for revenue purposes, where required.
  • Supervise and provide mentorship for team members. Encourage training opportunities as needed.

Ideally, you are someone who:

  • Has 4-5 years of agency experience.
  • Has experience directly managing clients.
  • Has experience directly managing a direct report.
  • Has a passion for advertising, design, big ideas, creative product and strategy.
  • Loves being the quarterback of any team you’re on and is comfortable handling multiple projects at the same time.
  • Likes your days busy and full of twists and turns – which is perfect, since no one is more organized than you.
  • Is a team player and able to manage complex situations.
  • Is organized, resourceful and a skilled multi-tasker.
  • Is detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Is passionate about big ideas and innovation.
  • Is a born go-getter who takes initiative.
  • Expertise in digital/social/studio production.
